I think the whole “Bama is just a 3 pt team“ can go by the wayside this year. We’re 2-9 this half and we didn’t really need to rely on it at all.

Some interesting second half stats. Cliff, Grant and Labaron had 6 pts in the second half….combined. None after 12:46. That highlights bench depth. We scored 22 pts in the first 13 min, 21 in the last 7. And maybe we should spend halftime just doing shoot around. 😊

Yeah, Nelson was on the bench so long that I was worried he might be injured. He was put back in so all is well. I think Sherrell and Dioubate got some extra minutes. being able to spread out the absorbtion of body-blows will pay off throughout the season.

Hate I missed the game but happy we got the W. Was covering the Ramsay v Moody game tonight. Ramsay boys broke a state record with the most points scored on a game ... 119 to 39. A good chunk of the points came from their backups :oops::oops::oops:

Teams are playing us harder at the perimeter which is opening up the lane. They will learn and eventually change that. Our shooters need to be ready when they do.

Another great win. I love to see us so active on the inside. An area we have struggled more so in the last 2 seasons. Feels like this game should have been closer to a 30 point win. I do feel like SC played us much better on D in the second half but they could not get going offensively.

Pringle had a good game. As much of a firecracker he was for us, it was nice to see him play well. Hope the best for the guy.

Also, Oats was on Reed all night. He's going to end up being a great player but I think he needs some polishing, gets lost on D sometimes.

That’s what I was just thinking. Teams are overselling defense at the arc and it’s letting the ball get inside. The pick n roll action is just waiting on someone to make a mistake and end up being an easy 2 at the rack. I did like seeing some of our guys playing Barkley-ball and attempt to back down a defender in the lane.

This team has some deep talent and starting to gel. Great win and great to start 2-0.

Is Stevenson a great practice player? Just gets more minutes than I would think still kind of seems like based on potential.

Is Mallette still working back from injury? Why take redshirt off if not playing if not hurt again.

like someone else said if we get sherrell going a little bit which he looks slimmer and stronger now that will be big. Holloway looking like he is more and more consistent and d slowly getting better. This bench avg 34 a game is crazy. Appreciate the whole team. Nelson getting stronger in post. As mentioned team changed style a little for more inside play which is fun.

I think he can play in two more games and still keep the redshirt. I think.
