Yeah, I’d rather play Oklahoma too but of all of the other teams I’m confident that we would beat Kentucky again. We play the same style, we just do it better.

As a follow up to that, the benefit of playing Oklahoma is that you don’t have to deal with Kentucky fans. They kill me on social. They make Auburn fans look rational.

Beating UK 3x in on season is gonna be tough. I wonder if anyone has ever pulled that feat off. It’s tough beating any team twice in a season. But we are talking UK basketball here….3x???

Texas vs Texas A&M went to double overtime, and that was the main catalyst for it. Its aleady pushing it to finish 3 games from 12-8.

Beating three teams in the same season is extremely difficult, and beating Kentucky three times in a season has not been done in over a decade.

If Alabama were to defeat Kentucky Saturday, the Crimson Tide would become the first team since 2014 to beat UK three times in the same season when Billy Donovan and the Florida Gators swept its regular season series with the Cats and then defeated Kentucky in the SEC Championship Games. Both teams went on to make the 2014 Final Four with UK advancing to the National Championship game where it lost to UConn.

We lost to Auburn three times in the 98/99 season. And to Mississippi State in 07/08. Also, Kentucky in 15/16.

Payback for the last time comes tonight.
