MCA takes a shot at Fulmer

Whoaaa.....

This coming anywhere out of Tennessee is just the tip off that the UT folks there ain't happy with Phattimus. It's a pretty scathing rebuff and worth registering with the MCA just to read this. I think this writer is actually saying what a lot of people up there are thinking about the Krispy Kreme man. He's embarrassed them enough and I don't think he'll be around much longer. BWAAAHHHHAAAAHHAAAAHAAAAAAA........

Anyone who has watched Phil Fulmer's offense could have predicted this. What does the guy like to do when he gets in a tough spot?

Run!

And if that strikes you as a tad unfair this morning, think about the plight of Kevin Burnett and Michael Munoz.

Those are the players Fulmer is sending to SEC Media Days in his stead.

"Go get 'em guys!

I'm right behind you!"

Waaaaay behind you, as it turns out.

In Knoxville.

Ain't no 'Bama lawyers on Rocky Top.

"This day is for the players," Fulmer said in a prepared statement. "They should be center stage."

Uh-huh.

And the way to accomplish that is to skip media days and ensure that the players get no attention at all? Because you're afraid of getting a subpoena from Tommy Gallion that obligates you to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth?

Calkins also hosts a radio show with George Lapides in Memphis. One vol fan called in this morning and said his article was filled with innaccuracies and yellow journalism and that as a journalist he should give facts not opinions.

Now, that would take the meaning out of writing an OP-ED piece, wouldn't it?
