Hey everybody does anybody know what the show is on
the MSNBC channel at the 9:30 to 10:00 time slot?
It was awsome because the host just did say a few minutes
ago that he was a Bama native and that our state
had been given a bad rap over the years and he would
love nothing better than have his 3 kids attend Bama
siting with him in the stands of BD stadium. All this was said while
quad footage and game footage was shown this past Saturday at the
big game along with "Sweet Home Alabama." It brought
a feeling of pride to my mind as it was blaring and playing. As he ended
the segment he said that he only had 3 words to say
that maybe only someone from the south would
know and that would be -ROLL TIDE ROLL. He then
trandscended to the next main news segment about food chain
problem possibilities with pythons choking gators to death
in the wild in south Florida and compared that with what "Bama did to the gators." Nevetheless I thoroughly enjoyed it and am glad we're getting
recognition again. ROLL TIDE ROLL :biggrin2:

I was a junior when he ran for SGA President at Bama. He darn near won it as a independant without the backing of the Greek Machine tha decides all of the elections at the Capstone. :eek2:

I remember shaking his hand a few times, he was an excellent campainer.

Yeah, that was Scarborough. He was a Bama undergrad and went to Florida for his law degree. He loves Bama though. When he interviewed President Bush the first time he ran for Pres, he asked Bush about going to Harvard and the "dumb" rap that Bush was having to deal with from the other side. Joe said, if going to Harvard was easy what would you say to a guy who went to Alabama. Bush didn't miss a beat. He said "I would say Roll Tide."

Scarborough also said that he was proud to have his sons at the game and hoped they went to Bama.
