The guys shot a -4 today to stand at even par and in 4th place. Would require a total team collapse not to advance to the championship weekend.
 
Bama had a great round today...moving on to the nationals. If TA&M wins their playoff, then 10 of the 14 SEC teams will be going...that is incredible. By contrast, the ACC -- which is supposed to be a stronger golf conference historically -- has only 5 teams going.

In the Mens' Championship in Eugene, the Bama men shot an opening round 290 (+10) good for 15th. Today, they shot 279 (-1, second best round of the day) to move up 9 spots into 6th. They're 6 shots from first but only 4 from 2nd. Round 3 tomorrow, the top 8 teams advance to match play.
 
Ouch, the team shot a +22 today. With the field being reduced to the top 15 for the final stroke round, it doesn't look good for our boys.
