If things go like they normally do with the NCAA... this will be investigated for about 3 years. Then after seeing the overwhelming evidence ( which they already have)... they will put Michigan on probation for 2 years and make them vacate games. By that time..Harbough will have long left Michigan...gone to the NFL and probably already been fired from there. 🙂
Justice should come now!

I don't think this will be 3 years investigation. I would expect Michigan to try and migrate any potential punishments by letting coach staff go and potentially self ban from this playoff run.

Ban themselves from the playoff? Not likely. I can't stand Michigan, but I'd be mad for their fans if they did that. Now, if they lose to Ohio St next weekend, and on Sunday say that they are going to ban themselves from post season play, including the playoffs, then I could see that.

…and it comes out that Harbaugh is getting credit for the wins UM got/gets while he’s been suspended.
They just didn’t want Cedric The Entertainer getting credit for their 1000th win….🤣🤣🤣
(Was there really any punishment here? At all…)

A reminder that this is the same school had to take down two NCAA banners from the so-called Fab Five because of cheating, too.

It's almost like when Michigan has any on-field success, you just wait long enough for them to expunge it from the books.

I didn't know until now that the school can make that choice. I guess that's their way of saying they stand behind Harbaugh and think he was unjustly suspended. They may have gotten some legal advice saying they'd lose in court on the restraining order they initially sought so they relented and accepted punishment.

I agree with you. If Michigan goes all the way and win championship, then have to vacate the wins?
let's say if Michigan goes all the way and wins the championship, it will be the most controversial title since $cam. I hope they don't go all the way (Ohio St. should win the game) so we don't have to ponder that question. With that said, the NCAA has a golden opportunity after dropping the ball for so many years to finally sent a proper and definitive punishment with all the gathered evidence that has been set forth thus far. Vacate wins from all the games that were affected by the sign stealing scheme and disqualify the school from post season/Playoffs.

Michigan doesn't even have to win the championship. If they get to the playoff and have to vacate 3 seasons worth of wins later it means that for 3 consecutive seasons Michigan has filled a playoff spot that should have been filled by other teams (including Bama) who play by the rules.

Getting interesting...a Big 12 friend who is trustworthy told me that TCU was alerted by a Big Ten coach that UM was stealing signals last year. They kept their same signals, but changed what they meant. That's the way they could beat UM.

JH ought to be banned from CFB for at least a year...probably life.

I have heard the same, but without all of the Michigan turnovers they win that game in a blowout.
