I just want the page to turn too but he’ll be talked about until the Draft is over.

I’m beyond tired of the discussion.

I don’t even want to talk about our current QB room I’m so sick of the debating over who’s the best and why.

Nothing would be better for the fan base at this point than to have a slam dunk multi year starter at QB.
Remember the years when our starter was mediocre at best and the upcoming replacements were recruits nobody wanted? Good times.

Agreed but there is a difference in being talked about and being dragged through the mud.

If our offense goes where we believe CKD and Grubb can take it the QB situation will resolve itself very quickly.

Players will literally want to line up behind the next Bama star QB to play for a few years before settling into the NFL.

We'll always have a few who transfer or flame out not meeting expectations, but I'm confident we'll NOT be wondering thru a QB wilderness similar to 23-24.

Multi year starter? I think we could easily see that if TS has a big, explosive year and goes into the draft, because KR is the kind of player who is going to explode after he gets his college feet under him! I haven't forgotten about Mack, but it just seems Russell is destined to be great!

If Ty has a monster year I hope he comes back for a second turn.

If anybody would deserve a chance to be a multi year starter under those conditions it would be him.

Not saying he's not deserving but just figured a monster year would be a paved way to a top draft choice.
It could but he also seems like the kind of kid who would want to come back.

He could have left and gone anywhere else and been a starter at this point.

I don’t really see too many people hoping for him to be a great 2-year starting QB.

They just want a neat and tidy path for the new freshman.

I would love to see that. Let KR redshirt, then spend a year as the backup. He would still have 2-3 years as QB1, depending on if/when he went to the NFL.

Athletic predicted draft has Milroe going late in the second round at this point. They figure someone will pick him up in the belief that he can learn the NFL QB ropes in a year or so.
At worst he'll go lower and make the league minimum and be even richer than he is now! If all he does is hold a clip board for a few years and then retire, he'll have the financial life of Riley!

In my opinion the best job in pro ball. Get perfect sideline access to all the games, carry a clipboard, pat the starting QB on the butt when he trots off the field after a series, prey he does not get hurt and make 7 figures a year. And if you are lucky do this for a decade.

There are questions about whether that is accurate. The first reports were he ran a 4.46 then later Alabama "corrected" the time to 4.37. Also, he ran a "4.37" with a hand stopwatch and not a laser, which is used at the NFL combine. Either way, he ran fast.
Yes, just read where some clocked 4.44/4.47.Still very fast.
10 yard split for 1.4 !

Running a straight away has never been his problem… it’s been accurately passing, reading defenses, and pocket presence. Yeah there are some that are going to see him as a potential 1st or 2nd round pick but I think most see next year’s draft as the one to splurge on quarterbacks.

I still maintain that Dart maybe the one guy in that class that may have the best opportunity to make something out of himself. Because he isn’t going to crappy team most likely.

Is that a running start or the standard start?🤔

Not familiar with how the NFL does that ...

Die, thread, die!!!

I know, I know. I don't have to open it, but the dang thing keeps popping up to the top of the unread list.

Can't we just close this chapter now that we are into spring practice?
It's not going away until the end of spring / NFL draft. Even then the die-hard fans/haters that cannot not think about JM will keep posting...
