BREAKING Milroe declares for draft

How do you know "no effort" is being put forth to prepare for 2025?

Do you think CKD and his staff are really doing nothing?

Man, the post CNS years are hitting some folks hard!

BTW, I know nothing about how Ty Simpson may or may not perform in 2025, but I'm pretty sure it won't be because he and the staff aren't working very hard to get ready for next year.

So CKD was expecting Milroe back for 2025? If he did anything to prepare any other QB I must have missed it. Just seems like a wasted year.

For the 1000th time, people are not upset because we finished 9-4. We’re upset because of HOW we finished 9-4.
And yet it still just becomes annoying whining.

People are free to moan and complain all they want for whatever reasons they want and others can tell tell them as long as they want that it’s annoying whining.

Fair enough?

That is going to politics…
But more interesting question would be “did Milroe’s play affect Saban’s decision to retire?”. It is very possible that Coach Saban could coach a couple more years if he has had a Bryce Young like QB
It is a sarcastic poke at the people who blame Milroe for everything, in the same manner as the post above it. Relax.

Absolutely Milroe’s play had something to do with Saban hanging it up. He knew there was at least another year of the rot he saw in the program after the Michigan game. A rot he caused, but rot nonetheless.

I keep struggling with the idea that we paid him $2M, AND, let him control the football team. I see coaches not running the team, a lost season, no effort to prepare for 2025, and Bama just throwing away $2M of precious NIL $$ like it was nothing. Regardless of how many times guys explain it...it just doesn't pass the common sense test.

The only way this will ever make sense is if TS turns out to be beyond terrible. If he's worse on his best day than JM was on his worst day.

Otherwise, it just does not compute.
I think it was 2 lost seasons really. You saw what happened when Saban tried to bench him.

I don't think Milroe has any idea that he might be a flop at the next level. I think he has a very inflated opinion of himself and his abilities. I keep thinking about the IB last year when we scored on the last play and he was screaming "Give me the Heisman!" when in fact, he had played poorly most of the game.
Also, we scored on the last play because the Barn gave him all day to throw
