Miss State black jersey

I haven't researched it or anything, but I'm not biting on the MSU-wears-black-for-Bama thing. I think Dan Mullen is too smart for that sort of gimmickry.

When are teams going to recognize that black jerseys have no effect on us??? Hope Auburn and Florida roll out some black jerseys in the Iron Bowl and SECCG!

I blame Phil Knight and Oregon for making teams think that they can change jersey colors any time they like.

At what point do teams realize that the color of the jersey has no effect on how the opposition plays?

As life would have it I did not realize MSU were wearing black until my son told me. My eyes were focused on the game and must have thought the MSU jersey's were dark Maroon.

I have never been as calm and relax for a game in years. I never once had anxiety or was upset at anytime during the game. It felt great.

Well ROLL TIDE ROLL 31-3 - DT_hah: I was a little upset I did not nail the score. I had it 34-3.

I give MSU a pass on this one. At least they announced it a while back, so it's not like they were trying to blow us away with a surprise blackout the week of the game. I just see it as them having some new jerseys and they picked our game to wear them.

I like Dan Mullen and am going to give him a pass this time. He is young, this is his first year as a head coach, the team is trying to buy in and gain some unity, I am okay with that. OTOH for UGA, UT, and other teams it is pure gimmicktry and will not work in the SEC. To answer someone, AU does not have black jerseys, but the 1979 or maybe 1978 game they played us in orange jerseys and got their clock cleaned.
