At least MS has some potential foul trouble. Gordon has three. If they pick up a couple of quick fouls after halftime, we might see MS go to zone. If so, we have to hit some long ones.

Bama needs this one in the worse way. But, considering our play in the last two games, I'm not getting excited yet. This one is winnable.

We've got to hit some threes and get Hendrix some more easy shots. We lived off of FT's down the stretch of the 1st half. Otherwise, we are going to get blown out ala Auburn last year. They are scoring farely easy when they don't turn the ball over.

Some good news: We are in it despite shooting 39% from the field, 14% from behind the arc, and 53% from the line. That, and we arent in foul trouble.

At halftime...

MSU is 7-14 (50%) from three point range.

Alabama is 9-17 (52%) from the free throw line.

How absurd is it that MSU is shooting threes at effectively the same percentage that are shooting free throws?

With good perimeter defense and good free throw shooting, we are probably winning this game, instead of trailing by five.

If Pickett can develop an oustide shot he will be a great one..right now he is no threat to pull up from behind the arc, and as such teams can sag off of him..

Too much standing when Hendrix gets doubled
