The game was so horrific I fell asleep rather than watch bad football. And I wake up to this? Wow.

What an infuriating way for a game to end. Missouri did everything they could to lose this game. The dumb decision to take a knee at the one yard line with under a minute to play. The offside penalty in OT when Auburn missed the FG. And finally, the creme de la creme, the Missouri RB has the TD if he just holds onto the ball, but he has to try to reach the ball across the goal line. Good grief.

1st and goal from the 2 with over a minute remaining and play for the FG- doh! Interception overturned in OT- doh! Missed field goal but offsides- doh! Running into end zone for game winner and just drop the ball- doh! That's the most au win I've ever seen. Hahaha! war eagle? Hahaha

This is 100% on Mizzu's coach. This game never should have gone to OT.

No it was a smart play. That his kicker missed what amounts to an extra point doesn't change that.

Yeah, at least he was trying to get into the end zone instead of relying on their coaches’ play-calling or that kicker.

Mizzou RB had a 1st down run all the way nearly to the goal line. Gets to about the 3 yard line and AU dbs are closing in. He gets the bright idea to reach the ball out. BEFORE the AU Db makes contact, he just... drops the ball. Literally it just slipped out of his grip. Bounces into the end zone and AU recovers.

All he had to do was just control the ball. Get tackled or not, it's 1st and goal or a TD. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Easily explained. JH Stadium is completely suffused with bad juju, at least for visiting teams. Even in their horrible years, stuff happens to other teams in that place that defies logic.
