At the SNF where my Mom is there's a TV on the wall about halfway down the hall and a little seating area. The TV is always on when I go there and usually at least 1 or 2 folks there watching. Well last night as I was passing there were two older gents watching the game. It was in the 6th inning and the Phillies were up 6-1 - I think.

One thing about sports.....it brings everyone together no matter who they are....where they are....or what their current life situation is. All of that stuff just gets put aside and the only thing left is the game!

its why I have never liked the wild card. It gives a decisive advantage to a team that is not guaranteed anything. #1 seed was almost a death sentence for many years because of it. #2 and #5 have reached more and won more WS since the WC was established. Now it’s probably going to be less
