for those who didnt listen to CNS today on espn .. he echoed exactly what Kalen said about MM
Not calling you out just wondering why several people say this is a young defense/team? This is not a young team. One true fresh starting on D and one RS Fresh starting. The rest are older. I know the secondary has young guys as back ups. I just hate saying the team is young as an excuse.Could it possibly be we are all hanging on the word "anxiety" too much? What if he said confusion instead? Getting the calls late can certainly cause confusion for a young defense. That can, in turn, cause.....well, you know....Anyway, moving on and hoping for a highly motivated defense tomorrow.
I'm in a similar boat, and you must not see the children destroying classrooms while causing every other child in class to evacuate the room. IF the admin comes, they bring the child to the office, give them a snack and send them right back into the classroom. They are not suspended or disciplined with any real consequences.I've been teaching 6-12 for 25 years on the Navajo Reservation, Coach Basketball and field trips. I think you are wrong in your assumptions.
Haven't had the problem.I'm in a similar boat, and you must not see the children destroying classrooms while causing every other child in class to evacuate the room. I'm 40 years old and I'm ashamed to say I act out of character once in a blue moon. Thank God my significant other and family forgive me for when I do. Athletics were created in part to help navigate young people into adulthood and to teach them right from wrong on an accelerated level. Moore made a mistake, fessed up to it, and now is better for it because of it.To bring this back around to the OP - Moore's actions at the end of the SC game likely saved the game.
Sometimes it's good to remember that these young men - despite being MEN - are still young and are prone to having the same emotional reactions in the moment all of us were at that age (and to be fair, the same reactions that some still have a decade or three older...).
Thank you MM, RTR
Probably referring to experience...Not calling you out just wondering why several people say this is a young defense/team? This is not a young team. I think that the Navajos are probably better parents...I'm in a similar boat, and you must not see the children destroying classrooms while causing every other child in class to evacuate the room. There's 3 true freshmen in the secondary. One is a starter, and the other two get a lot of play time as back ups. Sabb is a Sophomore. Russaw a redshirt freshman. Howard is a Sophomore. Hubbard is a Sophomore. James Smith a Sophomore. There's several other young ones in back up roles who get a lot of play time in rotation. Not calling you out just wondering why several people say this is a young defense/team? So what you're saying is that this defense will be amazing in a couple of years...if we can keep these guys on campus...There's 3 true freshmen in the secondary. As someone above said probably meant experience over youth. Plenty of older guys. Isn’t Sabb a RS Soph so 3 years. I can name a bunch of 3 plus year players too. Moore is 5th year smith is 4th. Inside LBs what all 3 year and older, d line mostly older. Not arguing, I think it was just experience vs youth in the meaning because it’s not a young team just limited experience. There's 3 true freshmen in the secondary. I'm thinking more in a couple of weeks. We are seeing the growing pains right now, but we've also seen some good moments too. Zabien Brown had that clutch pick at the end of the Georgia game. I still think our best football is ahead of us this year, especially in that secondary, because they've definitely shown in spurts, why they're highly touted. They just have to put it all together. So what you're saying is that this defense will be amazing in a couple of years...if we can keep these guys on campus...

Yes, Sabb is a redshirt sophomore. The site I was on was wrong. He played in 4 games his first year at Michigan. There's still a lot of youth and inexperience. But it improves with each game.As someone above said probably meant experience over youth. Plenty of older guys. Isn’t Sabb a RS Soph so 3 years. I can name a bunch of 3 plus year players too.
