MVP Open 2023 (DISC GOLF) Matt Orum (MattyO) Wins his 1st Major Tournament

Matty O is from Mobile and a big Bama fan. He just won the MVP Open Tournament at Maple Hill. Oddly enough he has had 60 podium and Top 10 finishes but never won in 20 plus years. This was an awesome final round of Disc Golf to watch. He won playing on the Chase card. Beat the closest player by 4 strokes and gave everybody a big ROLL TIDE and a shout out to Coach Saban on the broadcast interview.

i used to play a lot and have a nice (and very tough) course a couple of miles from my house, but don't get out any more. i have a cousin in idaho that still plays a lot

We have a couple of courses in our immediate area. One park course that has long and short TeePads and double basket options (18 baskets and fairly open) and one wooded course that is definitely challenging. The significant other has really picked up the game this past year and surprisingly has a good enough putt that I want to play more double rounds with her as my partner. I'll drive for the show and she can putt for the dough. 😁
