As I watched the Yankees error last night's WS away I'm reminded just how fundamental baseball is no matter the level. I watched multi-hundred-million-dollar players forget to cover first on a grounder to the first baseman, something my youth baseball team works on just about every practice. I watched another hundred-million-dollar players drop an easy flyball in center field because he didn't concentrate throughout the play. All of these things youth baseball coaches teach and work on with their teams every practice. It's a game of fundamentals, even for the big leaguers.

Here's to another MLB season. Only one gets to hoist the trophy, this year it was my team. Maybe next year it will be yours! Now let's finish the CFB season out strong with a playoff run! RTR!

I admit to checking box scores because Braves fans on Reddit were talking about Freeman hitting HRs in consecutive games.

I didn’t watch any of it though because I just historically hate both teams…lol

But from watching Braves games I agree it’s frustrating and disappointing to see how unsound the Pros can be with fundamentals and Small Ball.

I had much more fun this year watching LLWS games.

These kids were executing stuff like suicide squeezes in pivotal moments and it had me coming out of my seat cheering more than anything the Braves did this year.

I love watching somebody draw a walk and then steal 2nd, get bunted over to 3rd and then scoring on a sac fly.

MLB has turned into a HR derby year round.

But anyway you’re cool so congratulations to your team winning the WS.

It’s really hard to accomplish and it does feel magical when your team pulls it off.

Congratulations 🍾 that was a great win! Dodgers overcame their pitching issues to win in 5 games. That was very impressive.
