I rushed my wife to the ER last Tuesday at midnight, and she was having emergency surgery Wednesday morning. I spent many hours praying, and thinking about what my life would be like without my best friend in this world.

My heart hurts for you, Brother, and I’m deeply moved by your loss. I’d wear orange from head to toe, and sing Rocky Top from the top of Rocky Top...if it would bring her back to you.

God bless you, Brother, in this season of loss. Lean into The Creator of All Things, and find comfort in His arms...

...and know that they are the same arms that she ran and jumped into with childlike abandon, when she saw Him there waiting for her.
