I think our length and depth would create a decent gap but we gotta get passed SDSU first for the possibility.
I'm pulling for Indiana because I picked them, but more so because if they win the ACC will have ZERO teams in the Sweet 16.
I picked Miami because I had no faith the B1G had any legitimate teams.
I picked Gonzaga thinking that some of what showed up against us would show up in the tournament, LOL
We might not make it into the final 4 or championship game but if you told me we wouldn’t see a one or 2 seed all they way to championship game I would say sign me up. We have a 3,4,5,6,7,9,15 left on our side. You can’t ask for much better draw to make deep run.
The stuff that Drew Timme gets away with is unbelievable...
Wow that is a terrible beat for those who took Zags at -4.5. Most time teams won’t even take a shot and he hits half quarter shot.
Might explain why we are seeing so many balls getting wedged between the goal and backboard. I watched one game where it happened at least 3 times in that game. I was thinking the only way it is happening is if the ball was under inflated. Didn’t realized they had changed different balls for the tournament.
It is absolutely insane they would do this kind of crap before the grand stage of the sport. How stupid? Yet it's par for the course for our society.
All about $$$$. I bet if we do a gofundme and offer enough we can get them to change the "Official Ball of March Madness" to a rainbow beachball.
Since the balls were brought up, I have wondered how many they bought for the tournament. I saw 2 rolling carts per team for warmups. Figure that number of balls per first round site. That’s a lot of basketballs. If they don’t funnel the first/second round balls towards the Final Four and they just get new balls for every location, then wow!

I get that so much of it comes down to match ups. But I felt all year that the SEC was being undervalued. I always think the Big Ten is way overrated. They always disappoint, and have for nigh on 20 years really. And then I was not totally sold on the Big 12. I felt they were overrated but then they slapped the SEC around in the SEC/Big 12 challenge.
I think the one sure take away we can have is that Alabama has been challenged very strongly, and we are 31-5. But... 3 of the 5 teams we lost too are still alive.
Edited: 3, not 4 of the teams we lost to are still alive. But a 4th - Michigan State who we beat - is still alive as well.
