New "Tradition" Intro...

Only thing missing, that I wished was in there, was when George Teague stripped lamar thomas during the thumping Alabama gave miami during the '92 National Championship game. Other than that.......chills.

Yeah, that's one of the all-time greats that's always been in there. Otherwise, chills, chills, chills.

Simply. Awesome. Thanks for sharing....Does anyone happen to know what song is used in the video ? I have always wanted to know...thanks in advance !

"Lux Aeterna" by Clint Mansell from the movie "Requiem for a Dream"

I'm certain it's not the same version used in that video, but it's definitely the same song. It's very haunting.

Upon further research (thanks, iTunes!) there are several versions of this same basic song. The one from Requiem for a Dream, I believe, was the original.

Try looking for Requiem for a Tower. It'll show up under either Clint Mansell, Corner Stone Cues, London Music Works or The London Ensemble. It's the same tune, just a choral version I believe.

I like them all, but especially the one in the Tradition video. :BigA:

Inspiring! Awesome!

There is truly no tradition like University of Alabama football. If that doesn't make your chest swell and your heart beat a little faster, then you better see a doctor.

I still get chills when I hear Coach Bryant's voice. I had to watch that twice it was so good. Like others have said I do miss the strip.

I just recently viewed it and I really enjoyed it. Thanks very much for posting it for us to see. I'm ready for the season to start now!

RTR!

Awesome video. I've seen the Teague strip mentioned several times. It would be nice to have it included but I don't think its ever actually been in the tradition video. It is in the national championship video representing the '92 championship though so that may be where some of the confusion has come from.
