Also, is the full band making the trip down to the Swamp? How about Death Valley?

The percussion will begin warming up on the Quad at 3:45, Winds at 4:20
Elephant Stomp at 4:40

Good grief..... 2 things:

1. I'm way out of touch with the rest of the world musically. Gloria Estefan? Taylor Hicks?

2. I clearly don't understand jack poop about what goes on behind the scenes when it comes to planning the half-time entertainment. That's probably a great line up, but I look at it and cringe, but I'm set in my ways and not very often given to giving things a chance once I've drawn a conclusion.

Actually, Taylor Hicks just covered "Taking It To The Streets" on American Idol, like most songs sung on AI. The Doobie Brothers originally sang it. The full band will be making the trip to the Swamp, Rocky Top, and Death Valley.

I guess this year's home/away schedule sucks for just about everybody except the MDB. They get to take 3 big road trips. That'd be a blast...

In 2003, our first show had some Gloria Estefan stuff in it -- Anything for You, and Y Tu Oye (a medley of Conga and something else).
