Man, I was going for the Eagles anyway, but watching the 49ers try to run an offense without a functioning QB is just sad.

Still a Purdy fan though, just an unfortunate series of events for the kid. I imagine if he tried to throw about 10 yards or so he'd lose his grip and the ball would flutter and get picked.

I had to go look it up.

Ken Stabler threw a TD pass in Super Bowl XI. Bart Starr had TD passes in each of his Super Bowls, I and II. Namath did not have a TD pass in Super Bowl III.
