late bloomer. Jr year of HS was ok, but not outstanding. Senior year he blew the doors off, but even then wasn't seen as blazing fast, and it was said he would need to continue to work on his speed. We offered him kinda late in the cycle, but he had already committed to GT, and stuck with it.
Sometimes kids just don't get seen - think about Josh Jacobs being a complete unknown till we somehow, almost randomly, found him and now he's about be a franchise tagged RB who is one of the top 3 guys in the league at his position...
