I don’t know why they bother with the game clock since they will play until there is a winner.

What's the % of time in the NFL the receiving team wins? 70% or so? With these QBs, it's even more cut and dried...

Since 1994, the team that wins the toss has won on first possession 34% of the time.
Overall? 60%

If it goes a second OT, they'll still switch ends of the field. Plus, there's always the chance they beat the time kept record of 82:40 from the Chiefs-Dolphins game in 1971.

Yea I don't love that change but that's basically what the NFL OT is especially in a game like this. Chiefs just won because they randomly won the coin toss

Lived in Rochester for 2 years in the early 90's so was rooting for the Bills. They lost that game on the OT coin toss.
