What a great stance by DeMeco! He knows he'll have other, better options. Guessing he'd turn down other franchises that have storied histories of floundering -- Detroit, Cleveland, Arizona, Las Vegas (for the last 35 years).

He's waiting for a good owner to need a good coach. None of those franchises has a "good owner."

The guy in Detroit is doing an excellent job. Building the roster through the draft. They finished well and have a very young, talented roster. Have a lot of picks in the next draft.

Yeah they’ve been patient. I’ve been impressed with the way they have put together their team. That is only time I have said that about the Lions in my lifetime.
