I like this idea better. We've had the two greatest coaches in CFB. It's only appropriate that they be linked on the stadium where they attained their glory.

I'm also all for Brant-Saban-DeBoer stadium in about 25 years.

Exactly. I was afraid of this. Bryant-Saban Stadium sounds much better. Naming the field is so lame. Saban deserves better.

You cannot do a thing about when you were born.

Denny came first. The reasons his name are on the stadium are no less valid than Coach Saban's national championships. There quite literally would not be football, at least not to the level grew to, at Alabama without George Denny.

It's no less an affront to him to strip his name off the stadium than it is to Coach Saban to not put his name on it. In fact, it would be worse.

The way I see it, the stadium is for the fans, the field is for the players. Saban field is adequate in the sense that every time those players step on the field its in honor of what Coach saban-built teams have accomplished on that field.

I agree with those who say it should be the stadium.

Coach Bryant and Coach Saban are the two most impactful coaches in college football history (and that's not even a homer statement) and yet they both coached at the University of Alabama.

Both of their names should be on the stadium!!!

FWIW, I know very little about Mr. Denny but I know that he is a significant figure in the University's history, but I stand by what I think about Bryant-Saban Stadium!

The man has a statue outside of the stadium and now the field is named after him. What more worship does he really need? Denny, played a very important role in the growth of the University and using football to help it grow.
