Five to ten years? Um.. no. It won't be that far off. We’re five or ten years away from Saban’s retirement…
so who you got?
Nooooooo not another thread..... ughWe’re five or ten years away from Saban’s retirement…

If you are a Bama fan you better hope you are wrong.Five to ten years? Um.. no. It won't be that far off.
Unless this is the beginning of the end.If you are a Bama fan you better hope you are wrong.
Now if we just had a thread about choices in Bama hats, that could really go somewhere.Maybe close this one...
Even so, 15 straight 10 win seasons and on the verge of 12 straight 11 win seasons. Know how many we had the previous 15 years? I'll stick with Nick as long as he feels he can get it done and don't see the end anytime soon. At least, I hope that is the case.Unless this is the beginning of the end.
It's been a great run.Even so, 15 straight 10 win seasons and on the verge of 12 straight 11 win seasons. Know how many we had the previous 15 years? I'll stick with Nick as long as he feels he can get it done and don't see the end anytime soon. At least, I hope that is the case.
Forgive me for wanting to stay on that horse until she falls but there simply is not a replacement to be had. We are lucky enough to have attracted several generational coaches to the Capstone over the years and we still have one to keep supporting. That is my charge because no telling when that lightning strike will happen again in Tuscaloosa. It's been a great run.
I'll never forget the conversations about how well Nick Saban would do at Alabama. I nailed the first national championship coming in his third season, but I thought I was going out on a limb by thinking he would get three national championships total. In my wildest dreams, I would not have guessed Coach Saban would have had the kind of success he has had.Forgive me for wanting to stay on that horse until she falls but there simply is not a replacement to be had. We are lucky enough to have attracted several generational coaches to the Capstone over the years and we still have one to keep supporting. That is my charge because no telling when that lightning strike will happen again in Tuscaloosa.
I`m as big a Bama fan as anyone here, but I`m afraid he`s right. But yes, I hope both he and I are wrong. If you are a Bama fan you better hope you are wrong.
He is, after all, the father of cynicism...Nothing personal...but where have you been this autumn/year? We have discussed this issue ad nauseam. Did you check to see if a prior thread existed? Lots of information/discussion there...
