Notre Dame is indeed legit. They are like Florida north...that defense is very very good. They can run the ball, they have a young QB but he's explosive and capable, and Brian Kelly is one of the best coaches in the country...I've thought so since Cincinnati and so did ND. They may be the non SEC representative in the BCS game...their schedule is doable.

I've been wrong about ND. I really though Okie would win. I should have looked at history on them. It would have told me they were prime for a let down. Hat's off to them for the win. I still think Bama would destroy them, however...

Oklahoma got totally jobbed on the last interception call that ultimately went in ND's favor. That being said, the Sooners got outplayed in all phases of the game most of the night.

We all knew that ND was just a sleeping giant. Looks like they are definitely for real...

You're 100% correct..At least they're earning the recognition on the playing field this time..Instead of just cause they're Notre Dame BS..I can respect that & hope we play them in the BCS NC Game..Would be an unbelievable atmosphere.JMO.

I doubt they lose to anyone except USC and with USC's performance today, I think ND can beat them. It'll definitely be an interesting debate on who is #2 should the big 4 that are left win out.

Pretty sure they play U$C in LA. I think we won't have to hear about them for long.

Of course, given my ability to predict outcomes, maybe I should temper that.

If ND finishes undefeated, and should unless USCw can pull of the upset, they will be in the NC game. Due in large part to SEC fatigue an undefeated ND will trump a 1 loss SEC champion and/or jump an undefeated Oregon or KState. They win out and they are in. In the eyes of the media they want to see either ND vs Oregon or ND vs KState.

I thought OU would win this game. The way they moved the ball in the first two series I figured it was just a matter of time before they pulled away. I'll give credit to ND. They are more legit than I have previously given them credit for. They are definitely contenders now.
