I know him and his wife. His wife is a saint.
She has you fooled! 😅

For those still wanting to go, tix are as cheap as $109 on Stub Hub for upper level goal line on BAMA side. $178 for upper 50yrd line. Includes all fees. Both are way below face value. Standing room which aren't bad if you go to the 300 level end zone are as low as $25. I bet you'll find open seats... For the ND game my ticket was on the 25yrd line 3 rows from top of upper deck. I stood at the 30yrd line at the bottom of the upper deck next to the wheel chair seating. By halftime I found a seat on the 30 yard line 1st row of the upper deck. I'm willing to be Jerry World will be the same way. Stand till halftime and you'll find a seat.

NYE is going to be a very special day for me. It's the day I get to bring Mrs. Reb home from the hospital. She's been in there since Dec 8, so even Christmas is on hold this year. We'll do our celebrating when she's back home with us.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.

but since it doesn't come on until 8-9PM Est, it will be interfering with plans that my fiancée made. So my best hope is to be able to watch it from a bar.
The following is in half blue font because it's only half sarcastic.
There's your problem. If the son to be old lady is making plans so that you're going to see it from a bar rather than guaranteed, there's gonna be future football problems. I hear no shortage of men name the classic "she is bugged if I watch games all day" comments.

If you're more than a casual fan, such if you're here, I'd be willing to bet you are, better get get on board with this whole foosball thing now.

Still trying to figure out how to get to the game.... Have tickets but, the wife is still hacked off I blew her off on her b-day to go to Wiscy game and left her with my parents for 2 days. She is holding firm I am going to dinner at 6PM and then to a party afterwards. I may be spending a lot of time in the bathroom with the watch ESPN app.
You've got to seriously learn how to build up points year round......Or, consider dinner next week at Chipotle......

since you are planning watching from the potty anyway.....then, at least, you have a valid excuse

I haven't seen the ball drop in over 10 years...And I'm only in my late 30s...lol
This may be a new record for me on NYE I'll probably be awake at that hour. My early morning schedule keeps me on the same routine on off days so ringing in the new year never has been a priority BUT watching Bama stomp Michigan State sure us!

Got a group of friends we usually spend NYE with. Nothing too wild or crazy. There's pressure to have it at our house this year since we're the Bama fans (we live in 'melting pot' area of football fans - UGA, Auburn, Bama primarily, but a smattering of others, too) and people think it's fun to be with Craig and watch Bama play (I guess that's what they think). To me it's torture. I want to hear the TV commentary. I want to not be distracted. I want to feel free to yell and scream if needed (and it is often needed). I don't want to be The Spectacle, The Watched. Therefore Ms. CraigD and I (and the kids) will likely just stay home, watch, and celebrate a Bama victory and the New Year around midnight ET.

Hubs and I live on a boat in the Keys in winter. Retired, of course. Not rich. Don't go out when we are at "dirt" home. DO go out NYE in the Keys. Will miss those bands this year while on boat watching Bama football.
"Like" and add an "envy" to your post. Enjoy for me too. Happy New Year!

This game being on NYE is actually a great way for us to kill 3 birds with one stone! haha! We will have our regular football Saturday crew over plus a few more to celebrate a win over the Spartans, the new year and a 40th birthday! Can't wait!!
