Thought it would be good to have a single thread for roster moves during off season. Have a feeling there will be several.

Frenchie enters the portal:

Two Alabama basketball forwards enter transfer portal

Alex Tchikou appeared in only three games this season, while Keon Ambrose-Hylton appeared in 11.

Got it. I wasn't sure if there was any official news on him or not that I might have missed. I agree that JD will probably try to turn pro. Hopefully CNO can convince him to come back and work on improving his game for 1 more year but my gut feeling is that JD got caught up in the hype and believes he is ready for the pros even though he isn't.

Tyson Chandler on the other hand …… dang, that kid was all in.

I've never seen a player miss more close shots and layups. And his defense was poor at times.

I for one hope JD comes back. His freshman year was rough to say the least but the kid has incredible upside and hopefully will improve dramatically knowing this could be his team. Right now I think he is a 2nd round pick at best.....

I don’t think Shack comes back. He didn’t improve this year over last. Why try again?

He’s had basically the same season three years in a row. He may go to the D league, or overseas, Or maybe he tries to get closer to home for his senior season and play at UCLA

I could go either way on his return. Kid has crazy physical ability but doesn't have the confidence to utilize it. If he gets a low NBA grade and stays in the college game it might not be at this level. Don't remember what HS classification he played in but the uptick in college competition truly had him bumfuzzled much of the season. Could he be a major contributor and winning factor in '22-'23? Probably, but at what point in his development?
