I don't wanna bench GMac..But I don't think it would hurt to give AJ a few reps & GMac some rest a couple of series..I miss the point in the season where the pundits were calling this possibly the best offense in Bama history . . . .

Lacking a gameface mood, I decided to change my avatar for the rest of the game.
It's not just a matter of physical drainage. Mental drainage plays a big role as well.
I've wanted to use the 'recharge' excuse myself...but then I realize barney hasn't had a week off either and their offense is just sick. Ugh.
Fluker isn't playing. The coaches gave McCullough (his back-up) one of the player of the week awards last week. I haven't noticed his performance tonight.

I know they haven't blocked 34 for Tennersee yet, I hope they start or Gmac will be knocked out.Fluker isn't playing. The coaches gave McCullough (his back-up) one of the player of the week awards last week. I haven't noticed his performance tonight.
At least ESPN won't be back in the locker room anytime soon. I think it created a rock star mentality and hurt leadership development

Most of these guys on offense were there last year and know what it takes, mentally and physically, to win football games. That is why they should have built on the experiences they had last year and be a better unit.
I think the problem with this team is primarily mental in nature--it can't be talent or coaching.
I think the problem with this team is primarily mental in nature--it can't be talent or coaching. We seem to have lost the killer instinct and hunger--it's almost like our players seem like they are on cruise control out there on the field sometimes and just going through the motions. Of course, I could be wrong, but since the Duke game we simply have not been the same team.

I mentioned that to a guy at work and he agreed, but also said Auburn hasn't played teams coming off bye weeks. Either way, I agree. Alabama doesn't look like it can hang, conditioning wise, with Auburn at this point. Not sure if that's a mental/confidence thing, or something else.
