Gotta second that great post about Texas - I really was very sorry to see Colt McCoy go out. That interview he just gave was so sweet - you can see how much he loves the game.

Gilbert played a great, great game, and he's got nothing to be ashamed of. He's gonna be an incredible QB, and I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Alabama come up against Texas again in the fairly near future.

Texas showed what kind of heart Texas and Texans have. Nothing to be ashamed of. Played virtually the whole game with the backup qb and without a turnover at the end, had a chance to tie it up or win. If you didn't already know the pride of Texas players, surely you do now. Texas ain't ever been scared of anybody. We put out more good football players every single year into DI than anybody. Don't ever think that Texas is ever going to back down or think that somebody else is better than them. That is just the way Texas kids are. You have two of them playing for your team. Congratulations on a national championship. If we are to lose to anybody, it would be you guys. Your players play hard and with class. And that is good to go in any true Texans' book.

Such an amazing game...all the way around. Gilbert really played well the second half and McCoy is simply incredible. Broke my heart at the end with his interview. That having been said, ROLL TIDE!!! BTW, Saban looks fabulous in PINK.

That was the most amazing game I have ever seen. Texas was in it all the way. I am so proud of those guys. I can't even think I am so giddy right now.
