Here it is Game Day again with Bama facing another tough challenge probably one of our toughest of the season. ESPN is on campus and excitement is in the air, SEC football at its finest.

As always this thread will be monitored. Use common sense when posting, follow our board rules, have fun and try to watch the game.

Rammer Jammer, Roll Tide Roll.

A big ROLL TIDE for everyone out there this morning. Here's to a big win on the national stage, securing some highly ranked recruits committments today, and furthering the process of returning Alabama football to the championship level it belongs.

I need that duct tape BT, I have been working on my little girl's wooden swing set for what it seems all summer. I have busted wood, broke T-nuts so needless to say I need the duct tape. :) If I get it I may finish the swing set before the game today.

The pork butts are on the smoker, tater salad is made, baked beans are ready to go along with two bags of Golden Flake chips still in the bag! Now if I can calm my nerves, I will be fine!

Chicken and rabbit stew? Sounds delicious, reminds me of my younger brother when we were growing up.

My younger brother was a notoriously picky eater who did well to eat 5 bites a meal. One morning for breakfast my father prepared some rabbit as a side for us. The kids, all 5 of us, devoured it even though my father didn't tell us exactly what it was. Noone could compare to my brother's appetite, however as he shoved piece after piece into his mouth, much to our surprise. When told it was rabbit he was eating my brother never skipped a beat when he asked about eating Sylvester, our very own pet rabbit. Were it not for my quick thinking father, who proclaimed Sylvester as "too old and tough to eat anyway" we might have had a 5 year old serial rabbit killer on our hands. Ahh the memories.

Anyway..........stew sounds awesome Bayou, back to our regularly scheduled programming......

I'm in the hotel waiting for my friend to arrive from Athens. I'm already decked out in crimson and white, and eagerly awaiting my first glance of the campus since last season (come on Gameday!).

We'll be heading to campus around 2pm. I'm interested to see how this whole Crimson Ride thing works out, and anxious about where I'll manage to park with all the new restrictions. Add that to my typical game day nerves and I'm one bundle of electricity this morning!

I love playing UGA; good fans who travel well and are always appreciative of our campus hospitality. It ought to be quite an afternoon and evening in Tuscaloosa.

Roll Tide Y'all~

Roll Tide, my brethren! Getting ready for GameDay then it's off to the grocery store with me! I'm actually gonna try to pay attention to this one instead of running from the TV to the computer... to the TV... to the computer. I'll be around during halftime, and hopefully to celebrate after the game!

Folks, I (me, myself, And-I) need a Bama victory today! For this is all that will do to silence all the dang inane barking I've put up with ALL THIS WEEK from Dawg fans here at work in Columbus, G-A! From a newspaper article & countless Sound-Offs suggesting Richt closed practices to prevent "that cheater Saban from sending in his covert squad of spies to cheat" (after all Belichek(sp.?) taught him all about cheating), to constant reminders of the '02 last-minute Jawja victory, to the SEC championship spanking of Saban's LSU by UGA... I am completely sick of local dawgs this week! PLEASE LORD, let a Bama victory be in your cards today!!! I need relief from these cursed rednecks-in- denial-coworkers who've run down my state, my university, my coach, & my football team all week long... CAN I GET AN AMEN?!?!

KICK THOSE YAMMERING BULL PUPS!!! ROLL! TIDE! ROLL!

Yea Alabama, drown 'em Tide!
Every Alabama man's behind you! Hit your stride!
GO TEACH THE BULLDOGS TO BEHAVE!
Send the Yellowjackets to a watery grave!
And if a man starts to weaken, that's his shame
For Bama's pluck and grit have writ her name in crimson flame!
Fight on, fight on, fight on, men!
Remember the Rose Bowl, we'll win then!
Hey!
Go roll to victory, hit your stride!
You're Dixie's football pride, Crimson Tide!
ROLL TIDE! ROLL TIDE!

Really, no more need be said.

Gameday crowd looks awesome on TV, although I expected it to be a little larger. The stadium setup looks nice but I think they get more people on the Quad, since that's where everyone hangs out pregame. Unfortunately I'm on duty today so I'll be watching the game on board ship, but I'll be pulling just as hard as I can for us to dominate the Dawgs. Let's go Bama!
