I honestly don't know how we've held on to him.

Probably 90% or more of QBs in CFB would have portaled out under the same circumstances.

Nope....he's been a winner, but his coach speak and his QB decisions have lowered by confidence in him quite a bit. The team continues to look unprepared...and that really hurts to watch.

He certainly was not ready for the position he now holds. He may get there but he is not seasoned enough currently for the position he holds.

I said this in some other thread, but DeBoer's demeanor is just so different from what we have come to expect good football coaches to be. We're used to screaming and yelling, hard-nosed drill sergeant types and DeBoer just is NOT that.

He's so soft-spoken and often stammers which makes him sound almost timid and uncertain. That is the opposite of what we think makes good coaches. But in the same vein, I still honestly believe his coaching record is not a fluke.

I want to see what a DeBoer Bama team with a REAL QB looks like before I really start to make judgements...

He definitely needs to make some upgrades on the staff that surrounds him, but considering he won’t even make on the field changes, I’m not holding my breathe on the others

He'll get the first half of next year with a different QB from me even though I said earlier I'd promote Wommack and fire him lol.

But if we have anymore games that look like OU or the start of this one he might lose me

Brock Osweiler is dumb. The only reason we are in this game is because Michigan didn't take advantage of our turnovers

Yeah, that's a good point. Football coaches are changing because the players and all it takes to get/keep/please them is changing so drastically...
