Saban faced Auburn twice at JHS (2000, 2004) and lost when he was at LSU.

He's also faced Auburn three at JHS when the Tigers were ranked while he's been at Alabama (2007, 2013, 2017) and went 0-3.


So the statement in and of itself is true. Of course, microanalysis changes things. His 2007 team was Shula's leftovers and decimated by the textbook scandal, and his 2000 LSU team was his first rodeo.

OK, I thought they only mentioned two games. Were they seasons where Saban was facing an Auburn team with 9 or more wins? I knew that streak existed.

I just got a n alert that Terrelle Pryor was stabbed in Pittsburgh. Currently in critical condition.

Sounds like he is going to make it, thankfully.
