Guys there are a few things that should be evident by now:

1. Milroe will be the QB as long as he is on campus. KD is too spineless to do anything different.

2. Unless Milroe decides to leave and take his sissy “Roll Tide” with him he is going nowhere. There is no Pro team that will take him in the first round… maybe in the later rounds (3rd or 4th).

3. If and this is a big if KD is scared of locker room reaction by sitting him when he has all the reasons not to start him then we are in deep especially if he can’t be head coach when head coaching matters (I really don’t want to hear about what Saban did or didn't do last year at least he had us in the four team playoff) then we have definitely hired the wrong guy.

4. Just a question if we had had to struggle through the first four games of the year losing three but getting Ty and the remaining starters on the line on the same page or wind up dealing with the major disappointment this season has become because Milroe has to start or else then which would you choose?

Both leave us outside the playoff picture, but one fields a team that wants the best for Alabama and not themselves and gives a better chance for the future. For me the choice is simple start Ty and let him develop and sit or get rid of the players who have contributed to our demise.

Losing is not the problem for me it is being held hostage and told you play who we want or we won’t play. Again what Saban did or didn’t do is not the issue…he is gone it is now KDs decisions that matter. I want Alabama to be great again… can we win without those players IDK but one thing is a certainty we are losing with them.

Most frustrating thing to me was that it was apparent to all of us watching that Venables had his defense crashing down on the short routes and Milrie runs.

So what do we do? Short routes and Milroe runs until the game was lost. Even a Milroe defender like me will admit he had a bad game, but he got zero help from the booth and almost as little from his blockers and receivers. They just ran him right into the teeth of a pretty salty defense until he became too desperate and made those hellish INT's.

If I was Venables, I'd feel pretty smug about how I dominated Bama's coaching brain trust. As far as adjustments, we were deer in the headlights again and it looks like if the gameplan we choose during the week of preparation isn't working, we either can't or won't change during a game.

To us watching, it's like seeing a nightmare game of rock paper scissors. Their team brought rock and we just keep on trying scissors for the whole game like the outcome is going to improve. I don't get it.
We should have pulled him…that’s what we should have done. He’s just not a good QB.

The fans may feel that way, but I highly doubt Greg Byrne is sitting somewhere wondering if he whiffed on the hire. Josh Pate did a segment a few weeks ago after the TN game, basically saying there were some concessions that had to be made in order to hold the roster together and such, and that this is a transition year in every sense of the word, and that Alabama fans really shouldn't be too worried. Greg Byrne knows the circumstances a whole lot better than we do, but if Pate is right, then I'm sure Byrne is fully aware that this is part of the process. I don't see him as an AD that is going to cave to wishy washy fans so easily.
I dont either and I think that DeBoer can turn the corner but its going to take alot of work, and the offseason surgery will be interesting............I am willing to give him time

Some of you saying KDB is on the hot seat are insane. This guy inherited a horrible team culture that Saban allowed to flourish. Give him a few seasons to get his guys in and change that and we’ll be fine.
Hot seat with fans.............the AD and admin know the score and I dont think they are throwing him out with the bath water.
What was it Stallings said about the fans? I'll give the guy time to get it done and as others have said, it was a transition year and I didnt expect the moon this time around

8 and 3 , the day after. Tell us how you really feel now that you slept on it. For me, I pretty much feel the same way. It’s not that we lost, it was how unprepared and unmotivated the team looked with all their goals still on the table except an undefeated season. That keeps sticking with me. if you go back and look at this board, there was very little talk about the OU game, I seems the fans were caught up in SEC championship scenarios or the CFBP . I often wonder if the same things that have us distracted , has the players distracted. Reason I say that was the last game we didn’t talk about much was the Vandy game. The players aren’t keeping the main thing, the main thing. CKD said the team had a good week of practice with good energy. What happened between then and game time? Even with a week to prepare, OU should never control the Game like they did.

Iron Bowl or Raymond reruns. I’m telling you, not sure which gets my time. I might just spin some tunes and spend time with the wife.
That game is on at 3:30 with no other good games on at that time. No idea what I will do for the 4 hours between the Ohio State/Michigan game and the Texas/aTm games.

I think CKD was basically given two different options this year…keep the locker room happy and maybe back into something big or tear down the whole building and wind up with 6-7 wins.

I’m having serious doubts that the staff believes in Ty because this is the 2nd sinkhole game Milroe has had and we never made a switch. I think in all likelihood we are going to get a guy from the portal to be our quarterback for next year
But has the staff given Ty the chance to show he can do it? Keeping the locker room happy has pretty much precluded Ty playing

He should get at least one year without LANK.

Bolded is my biggest takeaway.

Both the Tenn game and OU games were an abomination from the QB position and he's got 3 other QB's he could give a fair shot to and he won't do it.

It's giving me major Shula vibes.

How can a HC let ONE damn player run the whole team?

Is this CKD's team or Milroe's?

It's a disservice to every other hard working player on the team on both sides of the ball.

Most of these kids work harder than we could possibly imagine and it's squandered because of this soft jellyfish temperament that has infested the whole program.

The team is a reflection of the HC.

Weak and Soft

It's disgusting to watch what CNS built over 17 seasons just get flushed down the toilet with Sun Belt level coaching and even worse preparation.

He will get a few more years. I just hope that the question is answered decisively in that time frame.

No program does well when changing leadership every few years. Let him try to build this program back up.

I've got alot to say about this team's issues but it starts at the top with a "star" QB.

The problem is the "star" is a star on social media, in the TV/press media and on TV but there's no substance on the field.

We have two years PROOF he can NOT lead us to a NC.

It's time to end the experiment of named Jalen Milroe!
Reminds me of Neon Deion

I think if Ty isn’t the guy, he’ll start Austin Mack, or maybe even Keelon Russell. KDB brought in Mack for a reason.

If Ty didn’t get a chance vs Tennessee and Oklahoma after how horrible Milroe was… it kinda shows that either they are protecting him from being killed or they don’t believe he is the answer and don’t want to go through it next year with him.
