I think it takes what happened today to get some people to open their eyes and realize that we are not moving forward as a program. We are regressing..sadly.

I will agree to that. Seems to me the entire offensive and special tems coaches need to go away( Including Shula--I am now officialy at my ropes end with his offense). We absolutely stink!!!!!!

I knew the O was Badddddd When i wacth the florida game. A game they woulda won if the O was any good.. Infact we be in the top 10 if the O was any Good. :BigA:

This I agree on and the Media is going to be all over this after today.

Shula has succeeding in taking exceptional talent and turning them into a bottom of the SEC ball club. (and if getting beat this year by MSU is not the bottom of the SEC, list me the other teams below that) He has proven that he cannot make the coaching changes or decisions in order to create results in our offensive performance. He needs to coach in Canada where the End Zone is larger, he would probably be coach of the year. Changes must be made, and if Mal Moore can't get them done, then we need to get someone in here who can. Shula seems like a great guy, great family man, mediocre coach, and very poor motivator. If I ran my business this way, I would be looking for work because my business is based on results, and Shula's results are very very poor. Enough excuses, its time to look at the results- and Shula's results are UNACCEPTABLE. Any one got suggestions for our next head coach?

Probably feel better about midweek. But I'm with you. I just want to forget Alabama football for a while. And I've never said anything even remotely similar to that in my entire life.
I just want to see more of the what the mods have to say if anything. I value their opinions highly, as I'm sure a lot of us do.
What do we do, guys? Is this what we have to look forward to? I don't know if I can take it...

Congrats to MSU, their fans, players and coaches. You put it on us today.
I think we have to look at this loss as a positive for our program. If getting beat in our own back yard by a SEC team with a losing record AND no SEC wins this year AND no SEC road wins in 23 games, and losing to a former player who still bleeds crimson AND who wasn't chosen as our coach... if this doesn't force some type of change then we've lost all perception of reality. You don't have something like this happen to you and do nothing about it.
I still back Shula and Kines. I still back the players and I always will. Everything else? It has to be looked at in my opinion.

A positive view is that we can beat any team that cannot score offensive TDs, will allow us to intercept and make defensive TDs, and not block any of our three field goals quota, which we generally prefer to kick from the one yard line.:smile:
