to me, that second half was pluck and grit personifiedThat was a tough second half to watch, but like I said at halftime in this post: https://www.tidefans.com/forums/thr...1st-half-espn-6-30-pm-cdt.340515/post-4364325
We scored 7 fewer.

Germie is one of one. One of a kind. HAHA
we made some mistakes, but we were scrappy as hell in the 4th quarter. by god, we were not going to lose. This is the sort of performance I've been waiting for. It looked like they would bleed out, but the defense got a couple huge stops when it mattered and the offense finished the job.
The key here is Alabama might have found a physicality that they've lacked. The running game struggled, yes, but Alabama didn't abandon it (remarkably balanced in attempts) and it was there when they needed it to finish the game. Hopefully that's something to build off of.
This didn't feel like last year, where Alabama needed late theatrics to finish off a team they'd been up big on. This was Alabama stepping up late in a game, in a fashion I haven't seen in a while.
Great job.
I thought the same thing when I saw him. You can see the lip quivering
No. No need to feel weird. The week from beating georgia last year to losing to vandy the next was a microcosm of how we, the fan base, has felt the last year. The team needs to exercise those demons next week. Next week Bama needs a reckoning. We need vengeance for vandy even thinking they belong on the same field. An example must be made. If you can't tell, im a little fired up.Now we got a real test with Vandy coming up.... I feel weird typing that.
