Got to say it again. Incredible job by the d. I have definitely questioned it but the d line has started to get a push and make plays and alignment is better. Props to them. Offense made big plays again. Great team win excluding the kicking game.
Hope Jam and meadows have quick recovery, had back to back concussions in college and took a semester to mentally recover, bad grades, focus and the works from them.

We beat 3 straight top 20 teams. Two of which on the road. Not an easy task for any team.
Yes, and what is our reward? We get another highly ranked team coming in this week and then another challenging road game the week after that. SEC schedules are already so challenging, but the league officials allowed themselves to be bullied into a nine game league schedule starting next year. It's laughable.

Had them on the ropes and let them off.

Sack fumble to open the second half allowed them to tie it up.

Defense was very good on third down against the number one converting team in the country though.

Lee dropped a pick, but made up for it.
I said the same to friends at halftime. We had a 10 point lead, got a stop, and got the ball back with a chance to go up 17. For the next quarter and a half, Mizzou made every big play. They stopped us and got a score before half. I said to friends that we needed to take the second half kickoff and score a TD to retake control. Instead, we fumble and let them tie it up. At that point, it was anyone's game. The guys gutted it out and got the win, and that is the main thing, but we seem to be running on fumes at this point.

Look at the bright side:

Defense held Pribula to 167 yards and 2 ints.
Defense held Hardy to 12 carries for 52 yards averaging 4.3 yards.
Lawson had 7 tackles with 5 solo.
Hill-Green has 7 tackles
Jefferson has 6 tackles
Overton 6 tackles
Pierre has 6 tackles
Hubbard has 4 tackles.
That's much better team wide efforts.

Bama made sure Mizzou went 1/10 on 3rd down.
Bama had the ball for 38:33 TOP compared to Mizzou 21:27.

Bad thing: we left 17 points on the board:

Very good effort from our guys to get the win. Ty having to deal with that pressure may help down the road.

Jam and Meadows both with concussions. Haven't seen any update on Collins? Anybody else.?

The broadcast team kept singing the praises of the Mizzou pass rush. From what I was seeing, their performance was enhanced by being allowed to line up offsides quite frequently. Anybody else notice that? Mizzou does have some athletic pass rushers for sure.

UT has also been through some close games. Not sure about their health but they have to be tired too. Heck, everyone in the SEC is probably tired right now.

Tennessee game is where the injuries will finally catch up to us.
