I still cant figure out what he was doing before halftime.... 4 and 2 and you just run the clock down and kick it? I mean you take the points on the road in the SEC but still your team is fighting for bowl eligibilty and a rivalry game at that, go for the throat. Im glad he didnt though.
I don’t really think Freeze wants to be there and would jump at the chance to negotiate a way out of his contract. He hasn’t looked well physically for the majority of this season. He’s had medical issues while at Liberty if I remember correctly.

He's a redshirt Junior. He'll be back next year as Bama's quarterback, just to terrorize TideFans members.
Again, over the past 17yrs, juniors and redshirt juniors participated in senior day if they were declaring for the draft, which would make that game their last home game in Crimson. Not sure if the new coaching staff allows that so it doesn’t necessarily mean anything. Just stating a fact.

Hate to break it to you, but he is not going in the portal. I doubt he makes enough money anywhere else. NFL or return. That’s it.
So you really think DeBoer is just going to delay installing his offense for another year just because Milroe wants to return? It's not happening. It would be career suicide. DeBoer isn't coaching to get fired.

To be fair, They drove the ball on us alot in that first half, D just stiffened up in the redzone thank god.
Our defense is basically bend, don't break. It looks like we aren't doing all that great, but in reality, that's just how our scheme is. We are going to give up some yards, but we also are going to make it very difficult for the offense to generate points.

It was crucial for the offense to get a first down at a minimum after the INT from the halfback pass. Seeing our offense work well under pressure in that possession might be my favorite part of last night’s win. Even though it didn’t register any points, it drained lots of clock and pinned Auburn deep after a great punt from Burnip. Credit to CNS (Sheridan, not Saban 😉) and the entire offense for that passage of play!

Where does that halfback pass from yesterday rank among the worst play-calls in the history of this series? Is it up there with Wrong Way Bo or Bruce Arians? Or the pass attempt that led to a safety in 1999?

Let me tell you this: I don't think it's all on Milroe... There's a lot some of us doesn't know about yet and it will come out in coming weeks and months and that might change some perspective on him. But we've seen lot of players who struggled on college level and have gone on to pro level and done well.
I don’t disagree, especially when it comes to the jawing on defense, or the complete whiffing by some of the lineman, but the man touches the ball every offensive play on an option based team, so he deserves a lot of the blame for the struggles. He has put the ball on the money several times and there have been drops, but for every one of those there are probably four passes that the receivers make Herculean efforts to grab, or were just so far off the mark that the ball was uncatchable.

If he devotes his full time to raising the floor of his play he could very well have a decent professional career, even if it’s Canada.

I’m not sure where that call would rank but I heard Freeze made a comment indicating basically it was Hunter’s fault.

Does the barn realize how incompetent Freeze is?

I was most worried about our inability to stop the run and that we would be Jarquez Hunter'd to death, but he barely touched the ball. I saw a stat where out of 9 plays in the redzone, Hunter got the ball once, and it was an incomplete pass.

Kind of incredible incompetence, really. We turn the ball over 4 times and still win by 2 scores.

It's almost like he was a good coach 10 years ago but the game has totally changed since that time and now he's in over his head or perhaps simply doesn't care and just wants his check.

A large part of their fanbase want him gone/ didn’t want him to begin with. But realize a revolving door at the head coach position is not good for the program . So they are stuck with him. I warned every Barner I talked to that Freeze is an average coach , nothing special. Still living off beating the goat.

I don’t think it’s DeBoer‘s decision. If Milroe wants to return , he will return. Then the decision would be DeBoers on whether to start Milroe or to move on.
