I think ESPN should not have him calling Bama games. He is between a rock and a hard place - either a homer or exactly what Krymsonman said. GMc does a good job and the more experience he gets, the better he will become.

He has been bad since day one, and he is no better a few years in. I hope he improves, but I would prefer not to hear another game called by him until he does.
 
Arkansas scored 3 points on Auburn and 17 points against TAMU. We held Ole Miss to 7 points and gave up 31 to Arkansas both games on the road. Has Arkansas gotten that much better or has our defense regressed? The defense we saw today will not win another NC unless they improve dramatically.

Saban said before the game that Arkansas was a lot better. That carries more weight with me than anything that might be said on a fan board.

I think the Arkansas offense is that much better.

Gmc's 1st year in the booth , he once made a reference to Alabama and used the word "We". Now no one called him out on air, but I bet some suit at espn did off air. He has tried really hard not to show any bias since that one slip and it has made him terrible.

If we need to score 70 something points to win a NC...I am fine with it. Not worried...
 
I’d rather us have defensive struggles in the first half of the season than the second half, I believe the defense will get better.

I think Arkansas is getting better........Bama didn’t play its best game defensively( looked like 2nd and 3rd team in there for the last two scores) but Arkansas isn’t as bad as it’s record........ they should have beaten A&M and may beat AU if they played them again. I think Bama’s defense will get better....... Saban will see to it. The Hogs had lots of help from the refs
 
Give credit where due.

Arkansas was fired up for this game, had a great offensive plan, and is much improved, as most teams are expected to be throughout the course of the season.

Alabama has a lot of inexperience on defense and we should expect them to improve as the season progresses.

In in any case, we can out score any one in the country, if necessary.

I bet the coaches have a lot planned for Tua and Jalen together and we haven’t seen half the play book yet.

Sorry. It's my reflex to gross overreaction and nauseating pessimism.

Relax. The defense is as good as our offense normally is and our offense is 1.5x better than our defense normally is. And we have the best coaching and support staff in CFN. The convoluted math works out.

Our championship winning seasons are littered with games where one side of the ball under-perfroms. It happens each run. These are kids. Not machines. They lost focus. Doubt they lose focus for LSU.

Watching LSU/UF now and LSU's left tackle got called for holding on something the Hogs were allowed to get away with all game...
