I do not see us in the playoffs this years unless we win the SEC. Good team. It is just not our year.

I must admit Burrow is a tough nut. And he played whale of a game. But it’s going to take a lot a strange things for us to work our way back in.

And once again, not a single holding call in this game.
 
Better team won. We made mistakes for sure but our defense sucked tackling and sacking. Their OL played well with zebras help.
 
LSU is better than I thought. But if not for our first half bad play, we could have at least been tied to go into OT.

LSU will beat UGA and Clemson. Not sure about Ohio State.

Maybe somehow since it was only a 5 point game we might be considered for the playoffs if other teams lose?? We had several chances to win though. Just not our night, especially in the first half.

Tua actually had more TD and pass yards than Burrow, but Burrow ran the ball well. Burrow will win the Heisman over Jalen. Tua will still be invited to NYC.
 
How many yards rushing in first half vs second half? They were lining up to stop the pass and we could have ran on the a lot more than we did. Got behind early and Sark started playing catch-up. Najees yards rushing in the 2nd half I think opened the pass game a lot.

I was actually shocked when they called the pass interference call on LSU!
 
I’m proud of these guys. Many teams would have folded at half time, but they kept fighting till the end.

Tua and Najee - what can you say? Their performance was off the charts. Tua - considering his ankle injury, what a gutsy performance.

We could not afford a slow start and that's what we had. Offense could not establish itself in first half.

Why did we take the deep ball out of our arsenal? It didn't show up until we were in desparation mode. Tua's the best deep ball passer I've seen in a long time!
 
And hats off to Burrow. He played extremely well. Especially after last year. I don't have the LSU hate that many have, and that's ok. I hope LSU beats the crap out of UGA if they play for the conference championship. I can't stand UGA. Would pull for Auburn first.

If Bama had quit they'd be out. The grit they showed may be what gives them a shot to get in! IT MATTERED! RTR
 
Roll Tide!!! I love my Tide. Tough game and yes they played sloppy but they played their hearts out. Respect for Tua for staying in and making the best of it. I really don't think Sark was that bad at calling the game. Was it perfect...no. Was it better than what we did against Clemson last year. YES! Tua was not his self. Maybe rusty and of course hurting. But if he was healthy, this game would have been won. I'm not going to comment on Golding. Refs gave LSU a gift before halftime that decided this game....
 
The better team won and my hats off to LSU. I’m afraid our weak schedule helped create a mirage and made us look better than we really are. We have a very good team but right now at least we are NOT one of the top four teams in the country and will in all likelihood finish no better than third or possibly tied for second in the sec.

It showed up with their starting CB when out ...
 
Unless alot of things happen that is just almost impossible I just don't see us in the playoff. I'm not being pessimistic but just don't see it happening.
 
you know you have to be proud they competed didn't quit the sun will rise tomorrow you don't win them all no one.
 
Tough game to lose but I have to give LSU credit. They committed less mistakes than we did. We can’t make that many mistakes and expect to win these big games.
