TidenGA - I was there and had a rainsuit on and still got half drowned. It was an absolute downpour. Conditions on the field had to have been terrible. We (I was there with another Alabama fan who currently lives in MO) left after Bama went up 27 - 0 and the big bolt of ligtening went over the stadium and they evacuated the stadium. Probably wouldn't have left but my buddy's 7 yr old daughter was with us and we had to get her out of that.

i was there with my goretex coat and water proof pants on. i was almost soaked. sitting at 17 th row at endzone above the tunnel i had trouble seeing the ball beyound 30 yard line.there were a few times the rain became heavier right when we were ready to snap the ball. the artificial turf holds up okay but there was quite some splash when the ball hits the ground.

If any of you were there you can probably relate to what I'm about to say. I don't ever want to make excuses based on the weather, but that weather wasn't just a little rain, a slippery field and a wet ball. That weather was an opponent in and of itself. When Cody Mandell was about to punt on our 10 or so yard line I really don't know how he even saw the ball coming toward him. Normally I don't think weather is an equalizer. It wasn't yesterday either....it was a whole 'nother opponent of its own.

Yesterday our boys beat Missouri and the weather. There was nothing more I wanted to do than get our team on the airplane and get the heck out of there!
