If it's 3rd and 2 or 4th and 2 there absolutely is a formation you can put on the field that will get you the 2 yards. Alot of times the defense knows what you are going to do and they just have to stop you. Tush push, 3OTs as TEs, OT at FB. Our HC and OC dont have the mentality to run the ball.

The thing about running the football is not about running when they expect you to pass. Running the football effectively is running when they know you are running.

That is where we have to start.

If you know you’re going for it in 4th down…why not run the ball on 3rd. Make it 4 and 1 or maybe get the first down.

The point is a team can get hot and win the "NC" when they never deserved to play for it in the first place. That's the problem with the CFP - it reduces the value of the regular season.

Yep. OSU was an 8 seed. 1-4 lost their first game. In the playoffs everyone is 0-0.

That’s absolutely false. If we punt it out of there, Kirby is not going to do anything stupid and put the ball in jeopardy. Get a 3 and out a start again. Cole should’ve put his cleats on the 10 and if it’s over his head, let it go. Two horrible special teams plays tonight. Punt block, inexcusable.

Honestly I didn’t hate the decision at that point. We basically had to score a TD on every remaining possession and keep UGA scoreless. The play call and execution however were….not great.

I expect Notre Dame to jump us as they are playing really well last 10 weeks. Miami has been up and down even the second half of the season. If they put Alabama in front of Miami that gives them the out of comparing Notre Dame and Miami but saying Alabama fits in between them. I think Miami needed us to win so they could get right next to Notre Dame and use the head to head.

yup he never saw Hill to his left. easy pass and it would been a first. when they showed the replay again, the Georgia defender was late to cover Hill.

If we made the CFP and improvement on injuries, I could see a path for us in the CFP.

I just dont think our OC is going to run the formations that will allow us to run the ball when we need to effectively.

The first three quarters were terrible, 4th brought back some pride. This showed a continuing decline in offense. The defense played good. I just do not understand this offense players and coaches.

Bernard was our go to guy all year and we stopped throwing to him. When we finally did, it was too late.

I think we are out now.

We had to at least put up a fight and look like we belonged.

It doesn’t matter what this past week’s ranking was, it doesn’t matter what % the predictors said, it doesn’t matter what the committee has said.

They just have to look at that performance and say we didn’t even look competitive and don’t look like a Playoff team and that’s it. We’re out.

The SEC is not going to secede from the CFBP or CFB and form their own league…lol

UGA, A&M, OM, and OU will all be in the Playoff.

The SEC has representation covered and there is no reason for a tantrum.

All we had to do was be competitive.

It’s Bama’s fault.

We have to get better than what we have been the last two seasons.

Yes, with a team full of walking and out for the season players playing a top three team .... it never was a game. Go to a nice bowl game in Florida rather than go into a process of playing Oklahoma again and the winner getting an opportunity to play in Columbus in mid winter. The team and staff just aren't ready for a march into the playoffs.

the only team I see that struggles to run as bad as Bama is LSU. And they're a hot mess.

Biggest black mark on Deboer is letting Sayin get away.

I honestly don’t know if he would stay or not. Plus we don’t know if Russell or Mack are better than him.

It’s basically the Danny Wuerfell and Tom Brady argument. There were logical reasons to pass on them by well established and well respected people in charge. It’s easy to Monday morning quarterback. I bet alot of people in Ohio complain on Day letting Burrow walk too.

Guys, debating yes/no on the 4th down deep in our territory is NOT why we lost.

But I don't understand those who think we should punt down 2 TDs at that point in the game. If we convert and score a TD to make it 21-14, Kirby might have wet his pants.
