Like, did Ty look definitively better than Milroe did vs MTSU?
I'm not sure MTSU is even as bad as USF
We aren’t though, or at least we shouldn’t be. Ty won the job tonight IMO.Second, after 10 months, we're back to Simpson or Milroe.
I will say this about the O line, there’s a reason why NFL o lines are not as heavy as ours. Agility is important. We need to actually lose some weight and get stronger.

Yeah it was totally the easiest pass of all time, bench him. Every other QB we’ve put on the field was so much better and definitely would have made that pass. Which is why they didn’t, it’s all a ploy.did you watch the game? He literally made one nice play(which was an easy throw) the entire game....and took a bunch of bad sacks(yes the offensive line gave him no chance on some, but some were on him)
Im not saying Simpson shouldnt start. The other 2 havent given any reason to start them either. But it's clear at this point none of them have shown anything.....so sure why not start simpson. but for the life of me I can't see how anyone could take anything positive from any of their play. Doing so is just grasping at straws in my opinion and just trying to will someone to be 'the guy'.......we don't have a guy, at least right now. it is what it is.
Milroe is boom or bust. He’s got a long ball but that’s it. Simpson can generate actual drives.Like, did Ty look definitively better than Milroe did vs MTSU?

Exactly! He made throws the other guys just can’t.
He brought a spark and together with Roydell pulled us through.
He did great considering he hasn’t been getting a lot of snaps until this week and his OL was getting him killed.
Playing the way we played makes it feel like a loss. From some of the comments in this thread, you would have thought we lost the game. Come on folks, we won!
Tonight’s QB stats for the objective:Like, did Ty look definitively better than Milroe did vs MTSU?

He wasn’t asked to do anything? He was asked to win the game, and he did.I learned nothing new about the QB situation today. Next week we will know. Ty did ok today but he was not asked to do anything. He never had to read the defense at all. The good thing is he got some real game experience with the game in the balance. I think its a 2 man race right now. I think Ty should get first team reps and Milroe should get 2nd team with some wishbone stuff thrown in.
What throw did he make that the other guys can't? The throw to the tight end was a designed play with one read. Milroe can make all the throws he just can't (or has not shown the ability to yet) read a defense. He made throws the other guys just can’t.

I’m riding with you on this one @tusks_n_raider.Ty is the guy.
Gotta repair the OL
But Ty can make every throw.
Are you suggesting an adjustment?Bama needed to put a tight end on that side to help keep that guy from repeatedly sacking Ty Simpson. He was just too quick and fast for the left tackle to block him.
They did one time just out of halftime I think, when RGIII was busy being his agent one of many times.I have to ask because I didn't get to watch the whole game, but did they ever show Milroe? I watched 1st, last of 3rd, and 4th, and never saw him.
I thought he played "ok" after the first two or three series he was in. He seemed to settle down a bit. He needs to learn to take what the d gives him though.RTR!!! Give Ty all the reps this week. We may have a close game next week or we may lose, but Ty needs confidence. This should help. Glad he got his chance.
