I haven't read all 26 pages in this thread, but I'm pretty sure I know what was said. Here are my thoughts:

1. A new OC and a new QB fix a lot of issues on offense.

Fixes a lot, but something has to be done about the OL. Probably not tipping off what the play is would help them. But their blocking is sometimes atrocious.

Too late to catch you up, it has stretched over two seasons and multiple players. Ok, basically the info out there is the QB‘s business dealings with the Slogan LANK became popular and a life of its own as an NIL collective signing mutiple players on the team . The QB leveraged that to continue as the starter or his guys would walk or not play hard for the team. to keep the peace the QB remained the starter even after poor play because they had the team over a barrel. Maybe it wasn’t so hard after all. None of this has any evidence that has seen the light of day, but has become so prevalent it has become fact.

I will add, no NIL dealings has seen the light of day, so that much is not unusual.

I’m genuinely rooting for OSU. I really feel like Day is a good guy and good coach, but not elite. I feel like he has earned this one, considering how many people want him fired.

I don’t want UGA or Texas to win for obvious reasons. Penn State and ND don’t belong there after having not beaten a single ranked team in the regular season. I have always considered Oregon a gimmick team going back decades. Boise and ASU, I won’t even waste your time.

That being said, I won’t watch a single play.

All that might matter if they had been winning, but this is a terrible football team. Next year Alabama will begin the year outside the top 20 for the first time since 2008. Absolutely nobody will be talking about the tide, no preseason lists, college gameday will be elsewhere. All our kickoff times will be at 11AM and CKD will be at the top every every coaching hotseat list. He might even get a brick thrown threw his office window just for old time sake. Winning solves a lot of problems but losing, well that opens a lot of doors and sometimes the choice to leave isn't voluntary.

There was plenty of opportunity to slide away from the pressure and deliver the ball. I would love to have seen Mac Jones attack this defense.

You could put every CNS starting QBs name in a hat and draw one and that guy would have gone off on Tenn, OU, and Mich.

Next year will be yet another season with backup QB's with no development and a starter with hardly any snaps. or experience. smh

Ty probably doesn't do much better, and then everyone would be writing off Ty, as if it weren't a situation where he wete set up for failure. On the road, getting his first meaningful game action against one of the best defenses in the country. That's not a situation I'd want for anyone. Tua excelled in a similar situation, but he is our GOAT QB imo..

The original intent was to take advantage of NIL rules and allow players to make money using the slogan , and it was a business deal that originally allowed TA and the QB to make money after they leave the university. The intended purpose was pure. The unintended consequences not so much.
