And let me get this in too...on the thread on who the game's MVP(s) would be, I said Barron and/or Lester. I was in the right neighborhood, just on the wrong block.

Dre Kirkpatrick and DQ Menzie were AMAZING sealing off the edges and stopping the option and bubble screens. They shed blocks like linebackers out there. Just a great performance. Kudos to those guys.

Jerrell Harris should get some mention here too IMO.

Last 2 bowl games, Bama has out scored there opponent 70-7!

Bama out scored LSU 27-9 this year even with a loss against them.

Of course the only number that really matters...

Combine the last two games and add in the missed field goals and pat and the score would have been 46-9

Great team performance. Offense, defense, and special teams. So many players in all facets of the game stepped up when they were called upon. The announcers kept calling 'em backups....at Bama, we don't have backups, we have non-starters. These young men have worked hard and made an old man proud. It's great to be a Bama fan. We went through some tough times, but survived and flourished....now we're back where Bama is supposed to be!!! :BigA:

Thank you to all the coaches and players who worked hard, believed, persevered through the heartache of destruction and death, and held on to the dream. Thank you to the Crimson Tide players and fans who made this a great year. Thank you to Coach and Mrs. Saban for restoring the proper order of things and doing so with honesty and class.

Haters are out and shouting "worst game ever" and all that jazz. So begin prepping yourselves for a lot of hot air from fans of less than stellar conferences.

Bottomline: Bama is #1. Can't take that away.
