Most important games for us this weekend:

Alabama beating Auburn, obviously

OSU beating Michigan, need them out of the picture

LSU beating Oklahoma, knocks them out

GT beating Georgia, probably helps us

Pitt beating Miami, probably helps us

I don’t think A&M vs Texas matters, same for Vandy vs Tennessee

Others losing would help but most of them aren’t very reasonable.

Tenn beating Vandy might help some.

Vandy is on the Bubble at 10-2 but completely out at 9-3

I know if we were say 10-3 SECCG runner up with a HtH win over Vandy we should still get taken over them but I’m not 100% convinced of it.

That’s how little I trust the Committee.

Just like to point out that if GT beat GEORGIA , they would have Been 10-2 with a win over Georgia. That wouldn’t be good If we are trying to avoid teams that could hurt our chances if we lose in The SECCG.Also, In that case, we better make sure that Tt Beats BYU. Texas Tech is this years SMU and they are getting in regardlessj

But they would all be 10-2, and you forgot the ‘eye test’ . Talking heads everywhere are saying Georgia is playing the best in the country right now. With a Tech win, and a Bama loss in the SECCG, who knows what the committee would do? Try to shoehorn 2 ACC teams into the field of 12. Georgia winning eliminates All those scenarios. Better for everyone.
