Pressure's squarely on UGA. This particular Bama team is ahead of schedule and returns most of their major playmakers next year. UGA is an older, senior-led team.

Why do they play these games so late.

In reality, because of FCC regulations dealing with local programming vs. network Prime time access.

Rules from 50-55 years ago, that killed a number of shows including Red Skelton, way before cable or satellite or internet streaming.

That being said, this has been a real long day. I would prefer a late afternoon start between NFL first round playoff games.
