So big grain of salt here because of the source, but huge if true!! Please dear god let it be true.

I hope it’s true, but I don’t trust anything Pollack says. He has a history of just throwing stuff out there without verifying anything or really even thinking....This is the same guy who declared us done when Waddle went down.

They will not relinquish control regardless of what they may say. Think having a dozen Jerry Jones types barking at you ALL THE TIME and telling you what to do.
That in and of itself is reason not to take a job like that....... I’ve heard that part of taking that job is having to meet boosters for lunch every week and lay your plans out for them....... no thanks

I would think TX too big an opportunity for Sark to pass up. The only reason I can come up with that he would is if he somehow knew he would inherit Bama in the not-too-distant future. There's been no indication that Saban is anywhere near ready to go to the lake (God be praised). That said, if Sark does go into the vipers' nest in Austin, I trust him to keep his focus for the NC game.

Well, happy that hes landing such a high profile job, I have a hard time thinking it's going to work only because Texas has a habit of getting in the way of their own success.

Seems like he should have talked to one of our current staff members about that one ...

I think his source is Sanchez. Sanchez and Shark are close. Maybe Sanchez talked to Shark and he told him he turned it down or Saban gave him his word he would be the next coach at Alabama. Which one would you want? Alabama or Texas?

Well, at Bama you have control of the program......... at Texas, the program controls you....... no brainer to me

How is it that Dabo and Clemson never seem to have a problem keeping their coordinators?
The offensive or coordinator left last year. Venables has stayed and that maybe because he has had kids playing at Clemson during the time. I am guessing coaching and seeing his son is bigger for him then taking a head coaching job.

I’m not aware of the Alabama HC job being available, but if it is, then that’s even worse news.
