I beat mine with jump shots. Funny you remember it. My younger stepson brought it up not long ago. He's early 50s now and that was when he was a teenager...![]()
Midwest is the likely region.A few weeks back I grabbed a hotel in Indianapolis just in case we are in the S16 there. I may ultimately back out when I see ticket prices though.I really wanted to go in 21, 23, and 24 and didn't pull the trigger. I've at least set myself up to be able to go with the hotel. I can cancel 5 days out without a penalty.

Our three home and home opponents are all top 4 seeds![]()
I was listening to some POD yesterday, I don’t remember who, that said, if we went seven and three, we would still be a number one seed. You hate to look too far ahead, but we really need to handle business the next 3 games against UGA, Arky, and UTex. The final 7 games after that are as brutal a stretch as there could possibly be.
I hope we can boat race them right off of the court instead of being drug down into a linebacker style shoving contest with a basketball...this is why I like our position vs Auburn. Auburn has a high efficiency rating but they have little room for error because of their pace.
if they go “Tennessee†one game and can’t score, and they meet a high scoring team, they will be in trouble.
Our pace is our best weapon.
The challenge with Auburn, is that they are LONG LONG LONG on the perimeter-- and they have size in the middle. I think you have to go after their bigs early -- OR go very small and play 5 wide -- and Grant/Stevenson need to hit their shotsI hope we can boat race them right off of the court instead of being drug down into a linebacker style shoving contest with a basketball...

IIRC, with my old man memory, I think his career is around 42%+...Youngblood going 7-10 from deep the other night is scary. Now obviously he’s not going to keep it up at 70%, but to the extent Bama has one glaring weakness offensively it’s that the threes aren’t falling as much as one would like.
If he is consistently a 40% shooter from 3 then Bama has effectively patched that hole. At that point you just have to hope they have a bad night turnover-wise and hold on to your butt.

Obviously, I hope he is hitting his stride. It's a puzzle, but what I was getting out of practice was that he seldom missed one. (Maybe they meant 7/10, like our last game.) However, in game, his % wasn't all that outstanding. From the rest of his game, you can tell he's an excellent athlete and basketball player. Now, if Reid will just round into shape, we'll be a more formidable team...It’s taken him a minute to settle in given his transfer and then the injury, but yeah if he gets to his career average in volume Bama is a frightening matchup for anyone.
