I am likely the only (or one of few) that follow the Astros, but unless they pretty much lose out the rest of the way they will have accomplished something that I think only 2 other teams have done - 3 seasons in a row with 100 wins. The Philadephia A's did it when Connie Mack was coach, and the Yankees did it in the 2000s.

Edit also Orioles 69-71 and Yanks in late 90s

I think the Astros have probably done the best job in the past 5 years of getting a roster together. Now they have 3 aces and a killer lineup. I think the Yankees are fools gold, and the toughest team facing the astros maybe the A's and Twins.

Funny thing - they lost 100 games 3 seasons in a row to start the decade.

So, if the Astros win today or tomorrow (or the Dodgers lose today or tomorrow), they lock up homefield for the entire playoffs.
